NYISHI Indigenous Identity Society

NYISHI Indigenous Identity Society is one of the best registered non-governmental organizations, located in Arunachal Pradesh, India. We are working in many areas so that our society becomes the best in every aspect. We are actively working for sustainable social development and skills development among the youth for improved employment opportunities. In addition, the organization is working with the most neglected, socially and economically disadvantaged communities towards sustainable development. It is working in partnership with different segments of society to strengthen rural, women, children, youth, girls, and community-based organizations through various need-based development 

activities. NYISHI Indigenous Identity Society is working in many departments so that our society becomes the best in every aspect. And every person in our society can have better days in the near future. The betterment of the society, as well as the betterment of the nation, the new culture is the ultimate goal of the society. Our organization has started its journey with many hopes and aspirations and dedicated its life to fulfilling their need and demands. Our members are working hard to give a better life to the poor. We strive to create a pure environment and developed a neutral society where everyone can be happy.

The main mission of NIIS shall be to preserve, promote and protect the cultural, traditional, customs and ethnic identity of the indigenous nyishi people.

The vision of NIIS shall be to “visualized a purely inherited indigenous cultural, tradition and costume identity of nyishi tribe on earth”.

Objectives of NIIS shall be:

  • To preserve, promote and protect the ethnic identity of the indigenous nyishi tribe.
  • To preserve, promote and protect the indigenous cultural identity of the indigenous nyishi tribe.
  • To preserve, promote and protect the tradition and costumes of the indigenous nyishi tribe.
  • To preserve, promote and protect the language and literature of the indigenous nyishi tribe.
  • To foster and strengthen close relationship among the indigenous population in the state.
  • To safeguard the legitimate rights and privilege of indigenous people.
  • To maintain unity and integrity of the indigenous community.
  • To be a body representing the issues of identity of Nysihi tribe to the Government or any other stakeholder or entity.
  • To empower economics and intellectuals of the indigenous people
